I watched the television adaptation of 『Miss Marple and the The Murder At The Vicarage』, it’s BRILLIANT!
All that deception going on, and watching everything get slowly unravelled.
And I ♥ MISS MARPLE!
Especially when she’s “assisting” reluctant policemen AHAHAHA.
I was really surprised Miss Marple was reading RAYMOND CHANDLER, because of course, in my opinion, Agatha Christie totally pwns Raymond Chandler, but only because I can’t stand reading yankee speak, lol!
But it made me think… when was 『The Murder At The Vicarage』 set?
I’m sure it’s after World War II, but other than that I have absolutely no idea. Because Raymond Chandler was set in the 30s (I think
), and then Miss Marple lost her sweetheart when she was young because of the war, but which war was that? Because um, isn’t Miss Marple kind of old?
So if it were the First World War…? 
But the adaptation is really brutal!
The hanging scene at the end was quite shocking.
And there was MORE Raymond Chandler.
